JILI7 Top Up Explained: Five Routes From Your Money to a Casino Balance
A top up, or cash in, moves money from your wallet, a store counter or your bank into an account.
Key facts and contents
- JILI7 Bank Account Binding
- Binding a bank card links one card or account in your name to your casino profile, so deposits and payouts have a fixed destination.
- JILI7 Account Name Mismatch
- A payout stalls when the account name on your wallet or bank differs from the name on your casino profile, because cashiers pay only to accounts in the player's own name.
- JILI7 Banking Day Meaning
- A banking day is a day banks are open and clearing transfers, which excludes weekends and public holidays.

A top up, or cash in, sounds like one action, but it is really a choice of route. The same ₱500 can reach a casino balance from a GCash wallet, a Maya wallet, a 7-Eleven counter or a bank account, and each route has its own limit, its own speed and its own reason for stalling. This pillar sets out the five Philippine routes, what their own operators publish, and the checks that stop a deposit getting stuck. How the JILI7 lobby itself handles deposits is on the JILI7 deposit walkthrough.
The five top up routes compared
| Route | Who runs it | Regulator | How fast it settles |
|---|---|---|---|
| GCash | G-Xchange, Inc. | Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (e-money issuer) | Real time wallet to wallet and on InstaPay; same banking day on PESONet |
| Maya | Maya Philippines, Inc. | Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (e-money issuer) | Real time wallet to wallet and on InstaPay; same banking day on PESONet |
| GrabPay | GPay Network Philippines, Inc. | Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (e-money issuer) | Real time wallet to wallet |
| Over-the-counter cash | Separate agent networks such as 7-Eleven’s CliQQ counters | Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas (money service businesses) | At the counter; the wallet is credited within minutes to the same day |
| Bank transfer | Your bank, over InstaPay or PESONet | Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas | InstaPay in real time; PESONet the same banking day if sent before cut-off |
Each route has its own page: GCash for casino payments, Maya at a casino cashier, GrabPay casino rules, cash over the counter for casino top-ups and bank transfer to a casino account. The full set is on the payment methods hub.
How a top up works, step by step
The pattern is the same on every route:
- Load the source. Put money into the wallet, or have it in your bank.
- Open the casino’s own cashier screen after you log in.
- Pick the route the screen lists and you hold in your own name.
- Enter the amount within both the cashier’s limit and your wallet’s.
- Confirm and keep the receipt, with its reference number.
- Check the balance before you play.
Binding comes before all of this on many lobbies: what binding a bank account does explains that step.
Cash in GCash: limits and rules from GCash itself
GCash updated its wallet limits from 1 October 2026. Its help page sets them by profile:
| GCash profile | Incoming limit per month | Wallet limit |
|---|---|---|
| Basic (before ID checks) | PHP 5,000 | PHP 10,000 |
| Fully Verified adult | PHP 500,000 | PHP 500,000 |
| GCash Platinum | PHP 1,000,000 | PHP 1,000,000 |
Limits reset on the first day of each month. A Basic profile hits its ceiling fast, so fully verify before you plan regular deposits. One more rule matters: under BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 of August 2025, wallets removed in-app links to gambling sites, so you always pay from the casino’s cashier, never from a menu inside GCash.
Where a cash in stalls, and the fix
The money left your wallet but the casino balance did not move.
Keep the receipt and its reference number, wait the time the cashier screen shows, then send the casino’s support the amount, time, route and reference.
The wallet refused the payment.
You may have reached your profile’s monthly limit. Check it in the wallet app and fully verify if you are on a basic profile.
The deposit arrived but a payout later failed.
The name on the wallet may not match the name on the casino account. Why the account name must match walks through the fix.
A bank transfer sent on Saturday has not arrived.
PESONet credits within the same banking day only when the instruction beats the cut-off. What a banking day means explains the wait.
Wallet rules on gambling: read before you pay
The wallets do not treat gambling the same way:
| Wallet | What its own terms say |
|---|---|
| GCash | No blanket ban on gambling merchants in its terms; in-app gambling links removed under BSP M-2025-029 |
| Maya | No gambling clause in the e-wallet terms; its separate credit card terms restrict illegal gambling |
| GrabPay | Grab’s Acceptable Use Policy bars gambling, with a narrow exception for activity registered with the appropriate government agency |
So a casino listing GrabPay among its channels does not change what Grab’s own terms allow. Read the wallet’s terms before you use it for gaming.
Bank transfer cash in: InstaPay or PESONet
Two clearing systems carry bank transfers, both overseen by the Bangko Sentral:
- InstaPay: real time, around the clock, up to PHP 50,000 per transaction.
- PESONet: batch transfers credited the same banking day when sent before the cut-off; no scheme-wide cap, though your bank may set one.
The receiving side is never charged on either system; the sending bank may charge. Larger amounts usually go over PESONet because of InstaPay’s ceiling.
Over-the-counter cash in: paying with notes
Not everyone keeps money in a wallet. Over-the-counter cash in lets you hand pesos across a store counter, such as a 7-Eleven CliQQ counter or a pawnshop network, and have them credited to a wallet or a biller. The counters are separately accredited agent networks supervised by the Bangko Sentral as money service businesses, and they fall under the Anti-Money Laundering Act. Bring three things:
- The exact reference or account number the cashier or wallet gave you.
- A valid ID if the counter asks for one.
- The cash, plus any counter fee the outlet charges.
Keep the printed receipt until the balance shows. GCash’s own fee schedule, for example, makes over-the-counter cash in free up to PHP 8,000 a month across all such channels combined, then 2 per cent on the excess. The rail page has the detail: see over-the-counter cash explained.
A cash in checklist before any casino deposit
- Is the route on the cashier screen, and do you hold it in your own name?
- Does your wallet profile’s limit cover the amount?
- Does the name on the wallet match the casino account?
- If it is a bank transfer, is today a banking day and are you before the cut-off?
- Do you have a budget for the week, set before you open the cashier?
FAQ
What does cash in mean?
Putting money into a wallet or an account: topping up GCash at a store, sending from your bank to Maya, or paying a casino cashier. The money is not spent yet; it becomes a balance.
How do I cash in GCash?
Through a linked bank, an over-the-counter partner such as a 7-Eleven counter, or a transfer from another wallet. GCash's own help pages list the partners and their fees.
Can I use GrabPay for a casino?
Grab's own terms bar using GrabPay for gambling, with a narrow exception for activity registered with the appropriate government agency. Read GrabPay's rules before you try it.
Why did my cash in not arrive?
The usual causes are a name mismatch, a wallet limit reached, a bank transfer waiting for the next banking day, or a wrong reference. Keep the receipt and reference number for support.
Is there a limit on cash in?
Yes, set by the wallet or bank. GCash's help page, updated from 1 October 2026, caps a Basic profile at PHP 5,000 incoming a month; InstaPay transfers are capped at PHP 50,000 each.
Can I cash in at a casino from inside the GCash app?
No. BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 ordered in-app gambling links removed in August 2025, and GCash withdrew its Games feature. You pay from the casino's own cashier screen.
