Published feesWhat Maya’s cash-in page states is that the first PHP 8,000 per month via selected partners, combined, has no fee and the excess has 2 per cent. Take this one with a lighter hand than the GCash schedule above: it comes from Maya’s own site and was not re-fetched during verification, whereas that schedule was read directly.

Maya states these as MONTHLY wallet limits. In GCash’s wording, the ceiling is the balance you hold at a given time. People often present the two as comparable, but they measure unlike things, and a side-by-side view of them is meaningless.

Values on this page are fixed as of 2026-09, the month they were recorded. Count on the provider’s own page for current limits and fees, as payment providers revise them without notice.

Verification tiers

  • Basic — The monthly wallet figure is PHP 50,000, the same as the daily purchase figure of PHP 50,000. Transfers to banks by InstaPay, as well as sending to other Maya users, are both unavailable at this tier
  • Upgraded — Completion depends on a video selfie, a valid ID and a verified address. Maya sets a PHP 100,000 monthly wallet limit and purchases up to PHP 100,000 per day, caps sends to a Maya user at PHP 20,000 per transaction and PHP 100,000 per day, and caps InstaPay out at PHP 50,000 per day and PHP 100,000 per month
  • Super Users — The wallet’s monthly limit stands at PHP 500,000, with daily purchases and sends each held to PHP 500,000. Maya releases no information on the conditions an account must meet for this tier
  • Ultimate Users — At PHP 5,000,000 a month the wallet reaches its limit, and purchases and sends each reach theirs at PHP 5,000,000 a day. Maya releases no information on the conditions an account must meet for this tier

The published ceiling of Each tier lifts the allowance: PHP 50,000 for Basic, then PHP 100,000 per month for Upgraded, PHP 500,000 for Super Users and PHP 5,000,000 for Ultimate Users applies to the tier stated above, not to every account.

What Maya says about gambling transactions

The terms and conditions for Maya’s e-wallet, read first-hand, include no gambling clause, just general prohibitions covering illegal activity and anti-money-laundering breaches. Suspension or cancellation of the card is the consequence stated in the CREDIT CARD terms, a separate product, for a restricted transaction described as ‘illegal gambling or unauthorized game of chance’. Removing in-app gambling and gaming links was Maya’s response to being covered by BSP Memorandum M-2025-029 in August 2025 as well. Credit card agreements and wallets are different products, so a restriction found in the former is not a restriction on the latter.

How fast money actually moves

Maya settles settling live for wallet-to-wallet and InstaPay transfers but waiting for the same banking day when PESONet is used. It is the rail being described, not the casino, and an operator can hold a withdrawal for review of its own before it reaches Maya, which is usually where the delay in waiting comes from.

A per-transaction cap of PHP 50,000 each day goes out over InstaPay at most, and PHP 20,000 per transaction to a fellow Maya user, in both cases at the Upgraded tier applies, which is why a larger transfer sometimes has to be split.
