Evolution in the Philippine market

The first live-casino studio it has in Asia opened in 2025 in Cebu, in partnership with the local firm One Visaya Gaming. August 2025 saw the revocation of OVG’s own PAGCOR B2C licence, but streaming to operators from the Cebu studio goes on under a separate B2B licence. PAGCOR EGLD has approved a live-dealer list that includes Evolution too.

Licences the studio holds

Evolution appears in the records as holding: Malta Gaming Authority, UK Gambling Commission, Approximately twenty further jurisdictions. Two different licences are in play: one for the studio that develops the games, one for the operator running the casino, and the regulator a player can approach for recourse is the operator’s, not the studio’s.

• Malta Gaming Authority — Evolution Gaming Malta Limited, the licensee, with reference MGA/CRP/187/2010. Checking the MGA’s verification portal confirms the B2B Critical Supply Licence, casino vertical, as Licensed.
• UK Gambling Commission — Account 41655 is listed with two active remote licences, gambling software starting October 2015 and game host (casino) starting August 2021. A review of anti-money-laundering failings, through which unlicensed sites could offer Evolution games to UK players, led in July 2026 to a regulatory settlement of £4.75m. This is on the regulator’s own public register and so gets recorded here, although the settlement was a public statement instead of a suspension and the licence is still active.
• Approximately twenty further jurisdictions — Gibraltar, the Isle of Man, Curacao, South Africa, Sweden, Denmark, Latvia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Spain and Belgium all feature among Evolution’s licences on its own compliance page, as do several US states and Canadian provinces, and others.
