JILI7 Responsible Play: Age, Limits and Where to Get Help
JILI7 responsible play, on this site, comes down to three rules you can keep without any tool: be 21 or older, set your budget before you see a game, and stop when the budget or the fun runs out. This page sets out those rules and the help that exists when they are not enough.
Age: 21 and over only
PAGCOR’s responsible-gaming page lists persons under 21 years of age among those prohibited from entering gaming establishments and from playing on online gaming platforms. This site follows that rule on every page, whatever age any lobby prints. If you are under 21, close this site and do not register anywhere.
Limits you set yourself
PAGCOR’s reminders to players are short: gambling is not a source of income; set time limits for each session; never borrow money or use all of your resources for gambling; and do not chase your losses. In practice:
- Choose a weekly amount you can lose without missing a bill or a meal.
- Choose a session length and set a phone alarm for it.
- Never top up from a loan, savings meant for something else, or another person’s money.
- Treat any winnings as luck, not as income to plan around.
The longer version, with time-outs and self-exclusion, is on how to stop online gambling.
Signs that play has become a problem
PAGCOR describes problem gambling as betting more or for longer than you meant to, trying again and again to win back losses, money trouble such as debt and missed bills, thinking about gambling constantly, and relationships or mood suffering. One of these is a reason to pause. Several together are a reason to ask for help.
Where to get help
PAGCOR lists accredited help centres, including:
- National Problem Gambling helpline: landline (02) 8248 9568.
- Gamblers Anonymous Philippines: mobile 0915 938 2808.
- Bridges of Hope Drugs and Alcohol Rehabilitation Foundation: mobile 0917 509 8826.
- Gam-Anon Philippines, for families.
PAGCOR’s exclusion programme lets you ban yourself from sites it licenses and operates for 6 months, 1 year or 5 years, and lets a spouse, child or parent apply for a family exclusion. Its online self-exclusion portal is at osea.pagcor.ph.
If you are in crisis or thinking of harming yourself, the Department of Health lists the NCMH Crisis Hotline on 0917 899 8726, 0966 351 4518 and 0908 639 2672.
What this site does and does not do
This site holds no accounts, takes no deposits and cannot close or limit an account at any lobby. Those requests go to the lobby’s own support or to PAGCOR. Who writes these pages and how the site is paid is on the about page.
